Town of Schley Plan Commission Meeting Minutes – June 20th, 2024 1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. 2. Commission members present: Craig Brown, Tony Dallman, Joe Polak, and Earl Welker. Lea Ratajczyk was excused/absent . 3. Public meeting notice was verified by Craig Brown. 4. M/S Craig/Tony to approve minutes from the May 16th Plan Commission Meeting. A roll call vote was conducted. All Ayes. Motion carried. 5. Reports/miscellaneous items discussed: *Earl reported on the May 22nd Broadband workshop he attended. *Earl presented an article about the pros and cons of wireless vs fiber internet connections 6. Public comment: none. 7. A) M/S Tony/Joe to discuss and approve Schmidt’s LUA L-24-146 for a storage building and deck. All standard conditions recommended. A roll call vote was conducted. All Ayes. Motion carried. 8. A) M/S Earl/Craig to discuss and approve the Town of Schley’s LUA L-24-155 for a Town Hall. All standard conditions recommended. A roll call vote was conducted. All Ayes. Motion carried. 9. A) M/S Craig/Tony to discuss and approve the Burgener LUA L-24-165 for a attached garage. All standard conditions including contacting the Building Inspector recommended. A roll call vote was conducted. All Ayes. Motion carried. 10. Discussions continued on needed changes to Schley’s Road right of way Ordinance and the Towns fee schedule.
