Marquette County Youth Organization Association Meeting Minutes - June 25, 2026 Present: Richell Kufahl, Sheena Mike, Joanna Dalton, Bethany Ibeling, Victoria Smith, Nikki Mantz, Molly Groskreutz, Brenna Babcock, John Bennett, Cassie Craig, Denise Gerbitz, Izzy McReath, David Timme, Susanne Kufahl. The meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. John B and Izzy M approved the agenda, motion carried. Cassie C and Nikki M approved minutes from the previous meeting, motion carried. Treasurer Report: Printed report was reviewed. There is about $81.5K in the bank. Awaiting on $10.5K of sponsorship. Outstanding expenses to pay is about $50.3 K. It’s predicted to have enough in the bank to cover any losses. Sheena M and Cassie made a motion to approve, motion carried. Citizens’ Input: none Committee Reports Executive & Finance: none Entertainment: none Volunteers: Joanne received a $60 donation from Walmart for lunch for the volunteers. Volunteers are still needed for non animal projects. An email went out to sign up for shifts in the fair office. Volunteers are still needed for pass sales and security for the grandstand events. Building & Grounds: The pig pens are bolted in. Dave T is working on the lights and extra pens for the sheep & goats. The internet is all set up and ready. Promotions & Technology: The commercial is live. Market Animal Auction: Kyle is making “show in progress” signs. All the banners have been approved and ordered. Showmanship Dairy & Horse banners will be provided by the fair board. Tara Hamilton will be taking all the pictures. Beck’s will no longer be available for processing. Roskum Meats will be coming from Kaukauna and will offer gyro. People’s will also be an option. The next meeting is scheduled for August 19 at 6:30 pm. Molly talked about a little of what she was doing. She attended Russell Flats 4-H meeting, she will be going to the Badger 4-H meeting in July. She was also in the Harrisville parade. Action Items: Approve Committee recommendations, if any: none Contracts, if any: An ATM machine will be coming, there will be no fee to have it. Brenna B and Cassie C made a motion to approve, motion carried pending word board won’t be liable if stolen or damaged. The contracts need to be made with Marquette County Youth Organization’s Assoc not Marquette County Fair. Gates for Sheep: the round barn may need to be used. Horse Arena for Rodeo: Matt G sprayed the weeds already. The shoots will be on the west side of the arena. Special Star Showcase: no one signed up. Website: Sue provided a print out of the website updates. She will work on updating it. Sheena M & Izzy M made a motion to approve the website changes which includes a $358.99 charge, motion carried. Informational/Discussion only: The dumpsters will be dropped off on Tuesday. The porta potties are also set.
