VILLAGE OF STOCKHOLM BOARD OF TRUSTEES VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY , January 9, 2024 Village President, David Hanson, opened the Board meeƟng and roll call was taken. Dave Hanson, MaƩ Anderson, Dan Prokosch, Jerry Larson Clerk Report: Minutes, moƟon to accept MaƩ, Jerry 2nd to approve, moƟon carried. Treasurer's Report: Financials: moƟon to accept Jerry, Dan 2nd to approve, moƟon carried. Park: No report, no meeƟng. Fire in December-all logs have been cleared that were not burned, - Jerry Chris and Rebecca sent report. No issues. John Krumm pointed out Pepin County has twenty-five small trees available. Remove Xcel Meter once land swap is complete. RequesƟng if trees can be purchased due to losing ash trees (32) will be needed to be removed. Dave to call the county. Pick up in the spring. Jerry to see which types of trees to purchase. Post/screen around to protect. $100 max to purchase. MoƟon to accept Dan, MaƩ 2nd to approve. MoƟon carried. Dennis to quote tree dropping/Dan to remove. Cemetery: Dave reports directory is complete. Will receive sign to put on top of kiosk "Oakland" Cemetery. Peter Westerberg to land swap wooded area and will pay $800 towards survey. Not in land trust. Board for approval to land swap. Jerry moƟon, Dan 2nd to approve. MoƟon Carried Cemetery commiƩee Lyn Foley Bank of Alma. Anything over $500. Dan moƟon to allow Lyn Foley. MaƩ 2nd to approve. MoƟon carried. Dennis Dick with bid for tree removals. WaiƟng on bid. Dan to get bid from Dakota. Dan submiƩed DriŌless bid: All 5 poles, 28" inch, replicate what is currently there. $418 materials, $80 labor, $150 to weld to poles, $648 each $3240.00. Does not include dropping lines. Travis Johnson to remove light, Xcel will need to facilitate ($0) Backwoods bid: $300/hour. EsƟmate: 4800+3240= $8000. Jerry moƟon, MaƩ 2nd to approve. MoƟon carried. Dave would like to run for Zoning Admin at no cost. Pepin County Zoning Admin. Alicia to call Jeff Heit and Pepin County. New Business: Digital phone: Jerry moƟon, Dan 2nd to approve, MoƟon carried. Set date for February 13th. Dan moƟon, MaƩ 2nd to approve, moƟon carried. No other acƟon was taken by the Board, a moƟon was made by Jerry, 2nd by Dan to adjourn the meeƟng; carried.
