VILLAGE OF STOCKHOLM BOARD OF TRUSTEES SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES 5:30 pm MONDAY , SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 Village President David Hanson opened the meeting and roll call was taken. Present were David Hanson, Dennis Reichert, Jerry Larson, Dan Prokosh, Matt Anderson and Cindy Fenstermacher, Deputy C/T. 1. The purpose of the Special Board meeting is to review and discuss Applications and to hold interviews for the Clerk/Treasurer position. At this time, a motion was made by Matt, 2nd by Dan to move into Closed Session as per SS 19.85 (c) Employees; carried. 2. A motion was made by Jerry, 2nd by Matt to reconvene into open session; carried. 3. Discussion was held regarding a period of 6 months in which Cindy Fenstermacher will remain on payroll to train and assist the new Clerk/Treasurer. Cindy will have the option of shortening the period of time if she feels she is no longer needed by the C/T on a regular basis. Cindy will remain available as needed on an hourly basis thereafter. 4. A motion was then made by Matt, 2nd by Dan to offer Alicia Kallstrom the position as Clerk/Treasurer with the salary beginning at $12,000/year, 6 month probation period with a review at that time. 5 yes, 0 no, motion carried. Cindy F. then called Alicia Kallstrom to offer her the position, which she accepted with the terms stated. A letter will be sent to the other applicant thanking her for her interest in the position. 5. No other action was taken by the Village Board, a motion was made by Dennis, 2nd by Jerry to adjourn the meeting; carried. Meeting adjourned. Cindy Fenstermacher, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer
