Community Club August 2018 Meeting

Clear Lake Community Club Meeting Minutes August 6th, 2018 Meeting was called to order by Alison Blanchard-Avery. Secretary’s Report: July minutes were read Treasure’s Report: $7277.00 New business: Oktober-Fun-Fest                                 Band- will have the same as last year and will $900. Craft sale /marketing/advertising- Help pass out and send flyers Food vendors – Rodney Fall Wagon rides – we possibly have one waiting for conformation Set up/tare down – Snowmobile club will also help serve and get old tables from Community Center. Beer vendors – Brew Shed, Dustin will be in charge of finding the vendors. Amery Parade- we have the spots and will be wearing German costumes. Tents – paid $1300 last year, this year will be $800 for two tents, 30×60 and 30×20, possibly have Midway Bar pay for part of it since they will be using one of them if they are able to have their tent dance. Street layout – food vendors and the band will be in the Ambulance parking lot again and the beer will be down by the Midway Bar. Other- Possible 50/50 raffle, meat raffle. Square board for fundraising. Discuss 2019 layout for business sponsorships- we need to reach more businesses. Other – we possibly will need a new sled puller for the peddle pull next year, CL Days garage sales will be June 7 th and 8 th next year.
