FREDERIC VILLAGE BOARD SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES Frederic Village Hall ∙110 Oak Street E Monday, February 10, 2025 ∙ 6:45 PM Members Present: Amanda Blackmon, Patty Swenson, Ben Morris, Rob Lillehaug, Brad Harlander, Duane Wisse and Jackie Peterson 1. Call to Order by President Amanda Blackmon at 6:45 pm at the Frederic Village Hall 2. Convene into Closed Session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute19.85(1)(e) deliberating or negotiating the purchase of public property, investing of public funds, conducting other business whenever competitive and/or bargaining reasons require a closed session and pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c) for the purpose of discussing the consideration of employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibilit y, specifically regarding Police Department New Hire. 3. Reconvene to Open Session 4. Action from Closed Session, if any Motion to officially offer Brandon Sams the position of Frederic Police Chief with employment to begin on April 1, 2025 by P Swenson/J Peterson. Vote: Carried. 5. Adjourn - Motion to adjourn at 6:55 pm by D Wisse/R Lillehaug. Vote: Carried.
