FREDERIC VILLAGE BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Frederic Village Hall ∙110 Oak Street E Monday, October 20, 2025 ∙ 9:00 am Call to Order Regular Board Meeting by President Amanda Blackmon at 9:00 am at the Frederic Village Hall Agenda Approval Motion to approve the agenda by P Swenson/J Peterson. Vote: Carried Public Comments None. Chamber of Commerce Discussion Erin Hornbeak, Chamber President and Shari Chadwick, Chamber Vice President were present at the meeting. Communication between groups was discussed. It was decided that reps from each Board should attend the other’s meeting to increase knowledge of upcoming issues/events. Ben Morris agreed to be the Village rep at the Chamber meetings. E Hornbeak stated that some chamber members have made negative comments and she was afraid that this behavior was giving people mixed feelings about the Chamber as a whole. The Chamber wanted to clear the air so they feel comfortable asking for what they may need from the Village in the future. E Hornbeak also stated that the Chamber will try to start planning earlier, so requests can be made more-timely. There will be a line item on a future Village Board agenda regarding the Chamber’s use of the Village garage on Second Avenue N. There will be an agreement presented that is similar to the agreements already in place with the Library, Historical Society and Senior Center group. Convene into Closed Session Motion to convene into closed session by R Lillehaug/B Morris. Roll Call Vote: Carried Reconvene in Open Session Motion to reconvene into open session by R Lillehaug/D Wisse. Vote: Carried Action, if Any, from Closed Session Motion to accept Tyler Hoaglund's resignation and dissolve his contract with the Village by P Swenson/B Morris. Vote: Carried Motion to pay returning officers the part-time officer wage when representing the Village of Frederic in court by J Peterson/R Lillehaug. Vote: Carried Motion to increase the Health Savings Account benefit by $50 per month, starting in 2026, for eligible employees by P Swenson/D Wisse. Vote: Carried Adjourn Motion to adjourn at 9:45 am by R Lillehaug/D Wisse. Vote: Carried
