FREDERIC VILLAGE BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Frederic Village Hall ∙110 Oak Street E Monday, February 11, 2026 ∙ 7:00 PM Call to Order Regular Board Meeting by President Amanda Blackmon at 7:00 pm at the Frederic Village Hall Agenda Approval Motion to approve the agenda by B Harlander/B Morris. Vote: Carried Approve Previous Meeting Minutes Motion to approve January 12, 2026 minutes as presented by B Harlander/R Lillehaug. Vote: Carried Public Comments Chamber President was present to discuss upcoming events. There is an Easter egg hunt planned for April 4 and a National Night Out event in August. The Coon Lake Classic was successful. Recommendation from Public Works Committee to Discontinue Private Plowing and Sanding R Lillehaug shared the reasoning behind the PW Committee recommendation. Including time and material constraints and that other local businesses provide the same service. It was reported that surrounding communities have also discontinued the service. Motion to Accept Public Works Committee Recommendation to discontinue private plowing and sanding by B Harlander/R Lillehaug. Vote: Carried Textmygov Discussion J Schott shared information with the Board regarding a mass text service that was presented to her. The system would send mass texts and also be able to receive/respond to incoming texts from residents regarding ordinance questions and reports. J Schott requested feedback from the Board before she spend more time researching the service. Board members were interested and would like more information. Committee and Department Head Report B Struck reported that due to the recent cold weather the crew has been monitoring sewer lines and jetting as necessary. Public Works has also built a portable pressure washer using many spare parts. Approval of Journal Entries and Check Register – Check #194272-194340 Motion to approve checks and journal entries as presented by B Harlander/ R Lillehaug. Vote: Carried Items for Future Agendas Trustee Appointments to Vacant Seats Convene into Closed Session Motion to convene into closed session by B Harlander/B Morris. Roll Call Vote: Carried Reconvene in Open Session Motion to Reconvene into Open Session by R Lillehaug/B Harlander.
