Average Cost per Meal fiscal flow chart and definition, and it is on file. Average cost
per meal is $18.94.
5. Program/Site Reports
a. Brantwood: It was another three(3) months of generally good meals. $5.25 is a very
reasonable price to pay for a full meal.
b. Kennan: Soups were a “big hit” and donated pies are appreciated. General comments
about the following: too much tropical/mixed fruit; more parsley in parsley potatoes;
requesting non -chopped lettuce for sandwiches; requesting more chocolate milk;
complained about tough pairs and tough broasted pork; and complained about dry
cake. Discussion on accepting food share cards as payment for senior meals. The
senior services manager will provide updates at a future meeting.
c. Ogema: Reported the meals are good and everyone is generally very happy with
them.
d. Park Falls: Overall everyone has been very satisfied with the meals in Park Falls.
Compliments on the very good musk melon. Congregate dining numbers have gone
done recently due to deaths or illnesses.
e. Phillips: Generally happy with the meals and generally no complaints. Compliments
on the dinner rolls in place of wheat bread. Mentioned the following: too many Vanilla
Snap cookies for desserts; noticed carrots are frequently on the menu; too much
coleslaw; request ing garden vegetables such as squash, green beans, broccoli,
cucumbers, and tomatoes; requesting more California blend vegetables as they are
popular.
