      Observed person in charge was about to fill a cup of water at the handwashing sink to calibrate thermometer during inspection and is unavailable for proper handwashing. Provided education and instructed Person In Charge a handwashing must only be used for handwashing only and to fill up cup of water use the soda fountain. PIC stated they will also inform staff about this. PIC then filled cup of water at soda fountain machine.

      Correction: Keep handwashing sink free of obstructions at all times to allow for frequent handwashing.

Observed caulk is missing from sealing the toilets to the floor, caulk is cracking at the handwashing sinks located in mens restroom and at the kitchen. Instructed PIC to repair these areas. PIC stated they will get a work order for these locations.

Observed one of two drain lines from the soda fountain machine/ice machine have air breaks. Instructed PIC to provide an air gap on this location. Observed the screw on backflow preventer and y splinter on mop sink hose bib is improperly installed. When turned on water is leaking from componets. Informed PIC and PIC stated a work order will be placed.
