CERTIFICATE OF SUFFICIENCY
State of Wisconsin )
Rusk County )
Town of Stubbs )
I, Caroline W. VanDerLoop, the duly appointed Clerk of the Town of
Stubbs, Rusk County, Wisconsin, do hereby certify that I have carefully
examined the petition for the recall of Pam Bonczyk, Town Supervisor, to
determine the sufficiency of the petition and whether the proposed
petition is in proper form. Upon examination, I have determined:
1. That the Petion was circulated and signatures were obtained within
the statutory time period.
2. That the Petition is sufficient in regards to the number of elector
signatures required under Wis. Stat. § 9.10 “…equal to at least 25%
of the vote cast for the office of Governor at the last election within
the same district …as that of the officeholder being recalled. 74
signatures were required by this statute. The petition itself consists
of 18 pages containing 146 signatures, 133 of which are valid.
3. While it was pointed out that the petition was addressed to The
Wisconsin Elections Commission the petition itself was presented
to the correct filing officer. I find that the petition itself is sufficient
as to proper format and content and is being forwarded to the
Governing Body.
I, therefore, conclude that the requirements of Section 9.10 of Wisconsin
Statues have been met, that the Petition is sufficient and that a recall
election shall be held.
Dated this 20th day of May 2026
