CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Chairperson Crubaugh at 4:30pm PRESENT: Bill Schweitzer, Rebecca Roberts, Dave Crubaugh, Jodi Patoka, Victor Voss, Dave Natzke & Travis Stuczynski Crubaugh introduced Dave Natzke, new committee member who took over for Eric Martin. ALSO PRESENT: Erik Miller   MINUTES OF OCTOBER 8, 2024: Approved as presented. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR 432 S. MAIN ST. FOR POSSIBLE TOURIST ROOMING HOUSE: Property owner Erik Miller would like to turn this property into an Air B&B. There is room for 3-4 cars for parking. This is a 3-bedroom home with room for 6 people. This property is zoned B-1 General Business. Tourist Rooming houses are allowed in residential zoning districts, thus the need for a conditional use permit. M/S Roberts/Schweitzer recommend approval of the conditional use permit for a tourist rooming house at 432 S. Main St. Per county rules, Miller doesn’t need to license the Tourist Rooming House with the county until he makes $2,000. A public hearing will be held on January 28, 2025. Exit Erik Miller at 4:38pm. POTENTIAL BUSINESS PARK FUTURE ROAD: T. Stuczynski went over the concept for the proposed road. Future businesses would have access off the new road which would have a cul-de-sac at the end of the road instead of using Washington St. Pros of this new road: Decrease the driveways & traffic on Washington St. that would be entering/existing onto Washington St. Makes the business park more attractive for potential future business development Cons of the new street: Costs – see bids from Stuczynski Trucking, American Asphalt and Faulk Bros. By putting in this new road, it eliminates future possibilities, it is no longer a blank canvas. This road would be part of the village’s 2026 budget.   Crubaugh adjourned the meeting at 5:18pm. Respectfully submitted, Jodi Patoka Clerk/Treasurer
