DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING SEMI-TRUCK PARKING WITHIN THE CITY The Plan Commission discussed the semi-truck parking concerns that have been reported since the closing of the semi-truck parking lot in December 2025. Semi-trucks are parking along Industrial Drive, leading to several reported issues. Some concerns discussed included reduced visibility for vehicles exiting the fire department and meat locker parking lots, snow removal, semi-trucks parking too close to each other, trailers being left unattached on the street, and noise disturbances caused by refrigerated units running overnight. The Commission will continue its review of this matter at the next scheduled meeting. Next meeting will be Monday, April 20th at 6:45 pm ADJOURNMENT Motion by Canaday seconded by Abley to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned Cynthia Anderegg, City Clerk-Treasurer
