INDUSTRIAL PARK SIGNAGE AND AVAILABILITY OF LOTS FOR SALE Bauch and Kelley will get together to discuss signage for industrial and business districts. ii. BUSINESS DISTRICT SIGNAGE The City Improvement Committee is developing a sign permit program that will allow local businesses and non-profit organizations to advertise on the City of Augusta “Welcome” signs located on West Highway 12, East Highway 12, and North Highway 27. Each welcome sign location has space for approximately 10 advertising signs. Individual signs will measure 24” x 24”. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to purchase signage at all three city entrances for maximum visibility. The committee has proposed a permit fee structure of $100 per sign for businesses, for a total of $300 for a five-year permit covering all three welcome sign locations. The committee has also proposed that non-profit organizations be allowed to participate at no cost; however, an application and permit approval would still be required. All permit fees collected will be administered through the Augusta Area Foundation and designated for future park improvement projects. Update on Park Signage: Bauch stated that the replacement park name signs should be arriving on 3/30/26. The signs that were purchased and installed in 2025 started to peal and fade. DISCUSS ANY NEW BUSINESS The members discussed potential buyers for certain commercial buildings. Next meeting is scheduled for: • Monday, May 11, 2026 at 6:00 pm ADJOURNMENT Motion by Keading seconded by Strauch to adjourn the meeting. Cynthia Anderegg, Secretary/Treasurer
