Budget Hearing/Special Electors — Minutes

NOVEMBER 12, 2024 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING MINUTES A special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Pleasant Valley called pursuant to Section 60.12 (1) (c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the town board of the Town of Pleasant Valley was held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Town Hall in Cleghorn. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Hanson immediately following the public budget-hearing meeting which adjourned at 7:15 p.m. The chairman presented the agenda of the meeting as follows and with no objections began with item 1: 1) Approve Resolution 24-16-17 for Electors to Adopt the 2024 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2025 pursuant to Section 60.10 (1) (a) of Wis. Statutes. On a motion by Dan Green, second by Megan Bechel, to adopt Resolution 24-16-17 RESOLUTION for ELECTORS to ADOPT the TOWN TAX LEVY for 2024 collected in 2025 in the maximum amount of $1,052,095. The chairman announced the ayes carry 5-0 and the motion is adopted. 2) Approve Resolution 24-16-18 for Electors to Adopt the Compensation of Elected Officials for the term of 2025-2026 pursuant to Section 60.32(2) of Wis. Statutes. On a motion by Megan Bechel, second by Doug Nelson to adopt Resolution No 24-16-18 RESOLUTION for ELECTORS to ADOPT the COMPENSATION of ELECTED OFFICIALS for the term of April 2025 to April of 2027 per resolution. The chairman announced the ayes carry 5-0 and the motion is adopted.
