TOWN OF PLEASANT V ALLEY October 8, 2024 TOWN BOARD MEETING CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Dan Hanson called a Town Board Meeting of the Town of Pleasant Valley to order on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in the Pleasant Valley Town Hall in Cleghorn at 7:00pm. Members present: Dan Hanson, Doug Nelson, Scot Iverson, Clerk/Treasurer Jen Meyer, Dave and Mindy Pederson (PAC Basic), Matt Michels and Ben Bublitz (EC Cty Planning and Development) CONFIRMATION OF PROPER POSTING Clerk/Treasurer Jen Meyer confirmed the meeting was properly posted more than 48 hours ahead of the meeting time on the Town webpage and the Town Hall posting board as allowed per state statute. PAC BASIC OPTIONS The Pederson’s have been given three options on how best to proceed with their expansion project. Two options would require a town road. The Town is not interested in acquiring a road in an industrial area. The best option is for the Pederson’s is to design a Planned Unit Development (PUD). This would allow for a private road to their properties. The allowable uses, processes and procedures were discussed with the Pederson’s and Planning and Development. A Pleasant Valley Comprehensive Plan followed by a rezoning will take place. ADJOURNMENT Chairman Hanson announced this meeting is adjourned at 8:00pm.
