1 TOWN OF PLEASANT VALLEY November 7, 2023 TOWN BOARD MEETING CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Dan Hanson called a Town Board Meeting of the Town of Pleasant Valley to order on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the Pleasant Valley Town Hall in Cleghorn at 10:00 a.m. Attendees: Chairman Hanson, Supervisor Nelson, Supervisor Green, Clerk Meyer and Atty. Gierhart DESIGNATION OF LAW FIRM FOR TOWN LEGAL COUNSEL - RESOLUTION NO. 23-16-17 Recently selected Attorney Christopher Gierhart of Weld Riley SC was present and introduced himself. A review of the Town’s typical legal needs were discussed. Motion(Green/Nelson) to approve Resolution No. 23-16-17 – Designation of Law Firm for Town Legal Counsel Chairman announced the ayes carry and the motion is adopted. REVIEW FEE ARRANGEMENT/LEGAL STRUCTURE A document proved by Weld Riley titled Fee Arrangement/Legal Structure of Firm was reviewed and signed by Chairman Hanson and Clerk Meyer. ADJOURNMENT Motion (Nelson/Green) to move this meeting is adjourned. Chairman announced the ayes carry and the motion is adopted.
