Special Town Meeting — Documents

July 27, 2026 The Town of Seymour board met on 7/24/2026 at 1pm in a special board meeting held at the Town of Seymour town hall for the purpose of opening sealed road bids. The following bids were opened, read, and recorded for public record: For base course (gravel) to be supplied for the Burnell Dr repaving project, two (2) bids were received. ▪ Stelter Inc, submitted a bid of $17.15 per yard delivered on road. ▪ Haas Inc submitted a bid of $29.00 per yard for virgin material, or $29.50 per yard for recycled material delivered on road. For pulverizing of existing asphalt, three (3) bids were received. ▪ A-1 Excavating submitted a bid for $4,999.00 per mile totaling $7,698.46. ▪ Haas Inc submitted a bid of $5,292 per mile totaling $8,149.68. ▪ SB Madison Constructions LLC submitted a bid of $.52 per square yard totaling $10,050.00. For asphalt paving, two (2) bids were received. ▪ Monarch Paving Co submitted a bid for $61.00 per ton totaling $139,568.00. ▪ Senn Blacktop submitted a bid for $67.46 per ton totaling $160,082.58. For the crack sealing of various roads, there were two (2) bids: ▪ Fahrner Asphalt Sealers submitted a bid for $10,107.00. ▪ Thunder Road submitted a bid for $8,538.90. Town Board will be awarding bids to selected bidders at a special board meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 1 pm at the Town of Seymour town hall.
