TOWN OF SEYMOUR BOARD MEETING Vol. 37 Page A meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. Notice was posted at the Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1- and at www.townofseymour.org under “Agendas”. Board members present were Chair Jessica Janssen, Supervisor Kerry Parker, and Supervisor Ken Schick. Also present were Road Supervisor John Oxley, Clerk/Treasurer Jean Eisold, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Sarah Smith and twenty Town residents. Chair Janssen called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS A. ANY ISSUES OR CONCERNS WITH HOW THE ORDINANCE CURRENTLY STANDS? Found discrepancies with in ordinance. B. HOW CLEAR IS THE ORDINANCE? IS IT INTERPERATED AS WRITTEN? Ordinance is inconsistent and was suggested that it should be reviewed. C. ARE THERE ANY CHANGES OR UPDATES THAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED? It was suggested to set up a committee to review ordinance and discuss updates/changes they would like to see made. Put out signup sheet for those interested in joining committee. BOARD MEMBERS COMMUNICATIONS A. Set date to select committee members ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Chair Janssen to adjourn meeting. Motion seconded by Supervisor Parker. Motion carried.
