Call Board of Review (BOR) to order (meeting adjourned initially on June 8, 2020). 2. Roll Call. 3. Consider minutes of June 8, 2020. 4. Confirmation of appropriate meeting notices. 5. Acceptance of the 2020 assessment roll. 6. Review and certify assessment roll and any corrections of error § 70.43, Wis. Stats. 7. Verify that the City has an ordinance for the confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the assessor § 70.47(7)(af) Wis. Stats. 8. Verify with the assessor that open book changes are included in the assessment roll. 9. Hear objections to the 2020 real property and personal property assessments Swear in assessor and objector for each individual hearing • Requests for waiver of the BOR hearing allowing the property owner an appeal directly to circuit court, • Requests to testify by telephone or submit sworn written statement, • Subpoena requests, and • Act on any other legally allowed/required Board of Review matters. • Review Notices of Intent to File Objection. • Proceed to hear objections, if any and if proper notice/waivers given unless scheduled for another date. • Consider/act on scheduling additional Board of Review date(s). 10. This may constitute a meeting of the Common Council pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis.2d 553, 494 N. W. 2d 408 (1993), although the Council will not take any formal action at this meeting.
