TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE WORK SESSION - MINUTES MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2025 – 3:30 P.M. STAR PRAIRIE TOWN HALL 2118 COOK DRIVE, SOMERSET, WISCONSIN The Town Board Work Session was called to order by Michele Hermansen at 3:36 p.m. in the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive, Somerset, WI 54025. Present were Michele Hermansen, Darryl Wendt, Brian Duggan and Bob Crotty. Town Attorney Nick Vivian, Building Inspector Melissa Cook, and Town Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Neumann were also in attendance. Approval of Agenda : Motion M/S by Darryl Wendt/Brian Duggan to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried. Operator’s License - Cedar Creek Inn - Cameron Tibbetts : Motion M/S by Brian Duggan/Bob Crotty to approve the operator’s license application for Cameron Tibbetts. Motion carried. Discussion - Affidavit for Accessory Structures : Board discussed purpose and function of accessory structure affidavits. Motion M/S by Darryl Wendt/Brian Duggan to recommend for adoption a resolution for an accessory structure affidavit requirement. Motion carried. Clerk to work with attorney to draft resolution language and add to the January agenda. Discussion - Large-Scale Industrial Solar Projects : Board considered a proposed resolution and agreed to send a letter of support. Riverdale Estates - Process/Timeline to Accept Road : Town Engineer confirmed all paving/shouldering and signage is complete, and recommended the town accept the road. Motion M/S by Michele Hermansen/Darryl Wendt to accept the new road–Riverdale Court–as a town road. Motion carried. Clerk to provide written confirmation to Tim Moulton. Town Zoning Application : Clerk to continue updating subdivision application packet to include a town zoning application modeled after the County’s template. Tax Bill Update : Today is the statutory deadline to mail tax bills. Ours went out last Friday. Town Hall Updates : Rescheduled meeting room automatic door installation due to cold temps. Clerk is working to build/install new TV carts. Town Road Maintenance - Road Patching, Repairs, Mowing and Other Issues : None discussed.
