TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE WORK SESSION - MINUTES THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2025 – 4:30 P.M. STAR PRAIRIE TOWN HALL 2118 COOK DRIVE, SOMERSET, WISCONSIN The Town Board Meeting was called to order by Tom Heintz at 4:31 p.m. in the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive, Somerset, WI 54025. Present were Tom Heintz, Darryl Wendt and Brian Duggan. Michele Hermansen and Bob Crotty were absent. Town Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Neumann, and Carrie Josephson from Olson Sanitation were also in attendance. Olson Sanitation Recycling Program: Carrie discussed various recycling options offered by Olson Sanitation along with their new transfer station. Town to discuss options for recycling. Snow Plow Contract: Motion M/S by Brian Duggan/Darryl Wendt to approve the snowplowing contract for Kusz Kontracting in the amount of $19,500 over a course of six months and an hourly rate of $120. Motion carried. 2026 Budget: Discussed projects to include in the 2026 budget. No action taken. Roads & Maintenance: No action taken. Motion to Adjourn: Motion M/S by Darryl Wendt/Brian Duggan to adjourn.
