TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING - MINUTES TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 – 5:00 P.M. STAR PRAIRIE TOWN HALL 2118 COOK DRIVE, SOMERSET, WISCONSIN The Special Meeting of the Plan Commission and Public Hearing was called to order by Bob Crotty at 5:07 p.m. in the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive, Somerset, WI 54025. Present were Bob Crotty, Brian Duggan, Craig Warren, Karen Prohaska and Annette Noak. Town Attorney Nick Vivian and Town Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Neumann were also present. Members from the public included Carol Mountain, Gayle House, Janet D’Ambrosio, Michele Hermansen and Darryl Wendt. Planning Commission members Naomi Littig and Ross Noak were absent. Open the Public Hearing : Bob Crotty opened the Public Hearing for the Town of Star Prairie 2025 Comprehensive Plan. Purpose of the Hearing : The purpose of the hearing is to record public comments regarding the draft Town of Star Prairie 2025 Comprehensive Plan. Summary of Factual Information : Nicole Peterson, St. Croix County Planner shared a presentation summarizing the factual information of the Plan and each of its chapters. Describe how testimony will be received and invite statements from the public : Each person is invited to present facts, opinions or arguments in writing and orally following the summary presentation. The Chair may limit oral presentations if the hearing would be unduly lengthened by repetitious testimony. Janet D’Ambrosio expressed appreciation for the Planner, Plan Commission, Town Board members and others who participated in the process. Close the Public Hearing : Bob Crotty closed the Public Hearing at 5:23 p.m. Resolution 2025-01 - Consideration of recommendation to Town Board - Town of Star Prairie 2025 Comprehensive Plan : Motion M/S by Craig Warren/Annette Noak to adopt Resolution 2025-001 recommending the adoption of the Town of Star Prairie 2025 Comprehensive Plan by the Town Board. In a Roll Call Vote: Motion carried. Adjourn : Motion M/S by Karen Prohaska/Craig Warren to adjourn.
