CITY OF GILLETT TOURISM AND MARKETING Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 2026 AT 5:45 PM MINUTES Chairperson Luther called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm. Roll Call Open Meeting Law has been complied with Present: Alderpersons Jerry Luther (via phone) and Nanette Mohr. Public Members Chris Byars. Alderpersons David Bunker and Keri Hicks, and Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Anderson. Public Input: None 1. Discussion and Possible action on minutes from August 6, 2026 MOTION: Byars/Luther Motion to approve the minutes from August 6, 2026 Voice Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and Possible action on post construction ceremony – Would like to purchase banners that say Welcome to Gillett and have other businesses sponsor each sign and get their name on. Will combine the highway opening ceremony and new playground opening. Activities will include music, food and vendors. Date is October 16. Lions Club will have food. Invite all! 3.
