CITY OF GILLETT COMMITTEE MEETING October 26, 2015 Finance and Personnel Minutes Chairperson Deborah Erickson called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. Present were Alderpersons Deborah Erickson, Terry Nelson, Marilyn Mueller, Marie Blaser, Nanette Mohr, and William Pecha. Also present was Mayor Drake and Clerk Beth Rank. Roll was taken and the open meeting law had been complied with. Public Input: None Motion by Nelson, second by Erickson to approve the minutes from September 14, 2015, motion carried with Mueller abstaining. Discussion was had on the 2016 budget. The CPI will be 0.73% for January 1, 2016. Health insurance was looked at. There will be a meeting the insurance company to discuss options. Motion by Mueller, second by Nelson to set the public hearing for the budget for November 30, 2015 at 6:00 pm, motion carried. Discussion was had on where to place the ad for the Utility/Public Works Department Head. Motion by Mueller, second by Nelson to place the ad in the Peshtigo Times for two weeks and the Oconto County Times Herald for three weeks, motion carried. Next meeting is set for November 3, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Motion by Nelson, second by Mueller to adjourn into closed session under WI§ 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation of any public employee over which this governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, specifically non-represented personnel. Concerning Employee Evaluations and Wages. Committee will not reconvene. Motion to include alderpersons present and Mayor Drake, motion carried.
