Roll Call Open Meeting Law has been complied with This public meeting is in compliance with all Open Meeting Laws Present: Alderpersons Ashley VanStraten, and Irene Drake. Alderperson Nanette Mohr, Mayor Jon Blaskowski, Police Chief Shane Breitenbach and Deputy Clerk Treasurer Lisa Anderson. Excused: Matt Young and David Bunker PUBLIC INPUT: None 1. Discussion and Possible action on minutes from December 20, 2024 MOTION: Drake/VanStraten Motion to approve December 20, 2024 minutes. Voice Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and Possible action on Class A Liquor El Hidalguense Grocery Store, LLC Agent- Angel Hernandez Bautista 102 E Main St, Gillett WI 54124 CITY OF GILLETT TOBACCO LICENSE APPLICATIONS The City Attorney recommended tabling it until application had better information. A copy of the email was provided to members. MOTION: Drake/Vanstraten Motion to table the Class A liquor license application until additional information on application is obtained. Voice Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Drake/Vanstraten Motion to table the Tobacco License until additional information on application is obtained. Voice Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED 3. Committee may go into closed session to discuss matters of employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of public employees pursuant to 19.85 (1c) Wis. Stats. MOTION: Drake/VanStraten Motion to go into Closed Session at 5:55 PM to include all members, Mayor, Deputy clerk, and Police Chief. Voice Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED 4. Committee will return to open session and may take action on matters discussed in closed session. MOTION: Vanstraten/Drake Motion to return to Open Session at 6:11 PM. Voice Vote: All Ayes MOTION CARRIED 5. Discussion and Possible action on Full Time Police Officer Position- MOTION: Drake/Vanstraten Motion to promote Allison Braun as full-time officer to start April 7th.
