CITY OF GILLETT PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2018 at 5:00 PM MINUTES Chairman McCarthy called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Roll Call Present: Alderperson Josh McCarthy, Marie Blaser, and Irene Drake. Also Present: Deputy Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Henkel, Acting Mayor/Alderperson Nanette Mohr, Alderperson Josh McCarthy, Public Works Foreman Shane Rank, and T&M President Jake Steldt. Public Pat Gilligan and James Beaton. Public Input: Chairman McCarthy told the committee that there has not been much movement on the sales in Ridgewood. AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Discussion and Possible action on minutes from January 29, 2018 MOTION: Drake/Blaser Motion to approve the committee meeting minutes from January 29, 2018. Voice Vote: All Ayes - MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and Possible action on raze order for 121 E First Street- Mr. Gilligan stated that he would put a “For Sale” sign in the yard to try to attract buyers. He also said he will call the bank to secure funds to remove the building. 3. Discussion and Possible action on Outdoor Recreational Plan- Refer to Parks and Cemetery Committee. 4. Discussion and Possible action on Trailhead Plans- No updates from the State for funds needed. 5. Set Next Meeting Date- March 19, 2018 at 5:00 PM 6.
