**EMERGENCY MEETING MINUTES** VILLAGE OF SURING BOARD SURING MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 604 E. MAIN STREET, SURING LEARNING CENTER ROOM II TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2026, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE 1:30 PM ORDINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING 1. Meeting Called to Order by Leslie Steffeck, Village President at 2:22 PM. ROLL CALL—(Village Board) Kohlwey, Kramp, Nieling, School, Steffeck, and Tonn. Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher, and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Pat Sleeter. Miller was absent. 2. Agenda was approved with a motion by Nieling and second by Kramp. All ayes. Motion carried. Open Meeting Notice statement made by Clerk. 3. PUBLIC: None. 4. Oconto County Recreational Grant Application: Discussion and possible action on allocation of funds in money market account for The Crossing Project signage on ATV/UTV trail. – No action taken. Clerk had questions for Village Board regarding the grant application. Due to lack of vendor responses, unable to complete the budget section of the application by the application due date so board decided not to proceed with grant application. 5.
