Plan Commission Meeting — Minutes

MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING PLANNING COMMISSION Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 5:30 P.M. LEARNING CENTER ROOM II Members present: Kohlwey, L. Steffeck, M. Steffeck, and Regal. Also present: Kim Gruetzmacher, Clerk/Treasurer, Pat Sleeter, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, Trustee Kramp, Art Bahr and Jeff Thelen from MSA. Members absent: Giese and Mahoney. 1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM by Les Steffeck. 2. Review future land use categories and future land use map - Committee reviewed the listing of the land use map and specified changes to be made. MSA will update document to be brought next meeting. 3. Discuss the draft of the full comp plan - Committee reviewed the draft of the plan and made changes especially to parks and rec section. MSA to update documents and forward to committee for review. 4. Wrap-up/Next Steps – MSA will update documents and get to Village. Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 5:30 PM. 5. Adjourn. Motion to adjourn made by Kohlwey and second by Regal. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 6:09 PM.
