Plan Commission Meeting — Minutes

MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING PLANNING COMMISSION Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 5:30 P.M. LEARNING CENTER ROOM II Members present: Giese, Kohlwey, Mahoney, and L. Steffeck. Also present: Kim Gruetzmacher, Clerk/Treasurer, Trustee Kramp, Trustee Schuettpelz, Art Bahr and Jeff Thelen from MSA. Members absent: Regal, and M. Steffeck. 1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM by Jeff Thelen of MSA Professionals. 2. Review Introductions, agriculture/natural/cultural resources, and community facilities - MSA went through and explained the different sections of agriculture, natural resources, and cultural resource sections of the comprehensive plan. Discussion was had on changes to the draft for these sections. Land use map was reviewed and changes were noted. 3. Wrap-up/Next Steps – At next meeting will be discussing economic development, housing, and land use. 4. Adjourn. Meeting was adjourned at 6:58 PM.
