MINUTES MONDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2025 TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF OCONTO 6120 CREAM CITY ROAD, OCONTO, WI 54153 1. Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 6:00 by Chairman Scanlan. Present: Clerk Scanlan, Supervisor Pansier, Supervisor Van Hulle, Treasurer Leonard, Others present see attendance sheet. 2. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Approval of Agenda: Motion by Pansier 2nd by VanHulle to approve as printed. M/C 4. Election Worker Oath Of Office given by Chairman to: Ron Rauscher, Jo Rauscher, Deb Schroeder for Chief Election Workers. Election workers: Barb Bickel(Absent), Kay Bitters, Pam Schroeder, Eileen Hermus Gossen, Kathy Krause, Meagen LaPoint, Joyce Swanson, Barb DeHut, Joy Campshure, Kathy Van Hulle, Kim McDonald, Cathie Connell, Mary Bahrke.(absent) 5. Oconto Sanitary District #1 request for wage increase. Discussion held. Motion by Pansier, 2nd by Van Hulle to increase Kim McDonald to $450 net quarterly; Cathie Connell net quarterly $150; Marcia James net monthly $250 and quarterly billing $5/invoice net pay. M/C 6. Approve minutes November 10, 2025, meeting. Motion by Van Hulle 2nd by Scanlan M/C 7. Treasurer’s report: General Checking: Treasurer reported a starting balance of $70,462.67 and November deposits of $107,700.05; December orders total $14,029.36 leaving an ending balance of $164,133.36 Motion by Pansier 2nd by VanHulle to approve Treasurer’s report. M/C 8. Approve Orders for payment: Clerk presented ACH for $1,233.72 for payroll taxes order # 6775 through 6789 which total $14,029.36. Motion by Pansier 2nd by VanHulle to approve orders for payment. M/C 9. Correspondence Received The clerk completed 4 title search forms. Tom Smith Inspections sent: Bill Goessl, 3970 Logtown Road, detached accessory 40 x 56 x 18 Anthony Martin, enclosed porch and reroof, 4428 Hwy 22, Lena Eric Blazek, 3350 Airport Rd, solar ground mount. State of WI Dept of Revenue sent Shared revenue November distribution notice $100,192.64 Received from Oconto County Zoning Administrator notice of rezone hearing for Ross & Tamara Harms Revocable Trust rezone from Forest w/Conservancy overlay District to Forest. State of Wi Depart of Revenue sent notice related to land designated as Forest Tax law land. (Dan Hendricks) and L Bitters Family Trust. 10. Comprehensive Planning Committee: No meeting Page 2 11. Road Work: Chairman informed board that the LRIP awards will be done on Tuesday December 9 at 1 pm. 12. County Board update: Reclassifying of various positions and a closed session. 13.
