Box #145, Oconto, WI 54153 920-373-7455 REGULAR DISTRICT MEETING January 12, 2026 1) CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kim McDonald. 2) ROLL CALL: Kim McDonald, Marcia James, Cathie Connell present. Quorum present. 3) ADOPTION OF AGENDA: Cathie made a motion to accept the agenda as printed. Motion seconded by Marcia. M/C. 4) APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Cathie made a motion to accept the minutes of the December meeting as printed. Motion seconded by Marcia. M/C. 5) APPROVAL OF TREASURER’S REPORT: Marcia presented the December treasurer’s reports. Cathie made a motion to accept the treasurer’s reports. Motion seconded by Marcia. M/C. 6) PAYMENT OF INVOICES: Payment of invoices. Cathie made a motion to approve the January invoices as presented. Motion seconded by Marcia. M/C. 7) CORRESPONDENCE: ● Ross & Tamara Harms 5497 Cty S-building home ● 8) OLD BUSINESS A) Bay Area Report ● See attached sheet ● B) ● C) ● 9) NEW BUSINESS A) Adam Filz request to speak regarding odor w/solutions of the Frog Pond Lift Station (Donahue Associates) ● Adam personally came to give opinion as the public has approached him about the smell at frog pond and County S. Bioxide works well. Causes build up in lines and we’d need Pensaukkee’s cooperation. Adam’s suggestion: Seal the manholes on S and add ferrous sulfide at Fog pond lift station and we’d need a pump also. Town of Pensaukee Sanitary District would pay ½ of the chemicals. We will get a carbon filter until we can install the equipment and add chemicals. We are trying to prevent problems with Pensaukee as we will take care of the odor ourselves. We have been trying to solve this issue for many years. Cathie made a motion to purchase the 6” Poly-Air Activated Carbon Vent Filter at the Frog Pond Lift Station and capping two manhomes south of the lift station.
