PROCEEDINGS – May 12, 2025 TOWN OF CHASE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Jeff Van Enkevort, Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll. Absent: Treasurer – Mae Micolichek and Supervisor Jeff Van Enkevort. 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge was recited. 3. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. 4. Approve Prior Meeting Minutes 5. Present and Approve Bills for Payment Motion by Kroll/Van Lannen to approve agenda, prior meeting minutes and bills for payment. The motion was called and carried 2-0. 6. Committee and Department Reports: a. Financial Report – Cindy Kroll Kroll read the financial report. b. Public Works – Wayne Kaczrowski Tree Chipping, Blacktop Patching, Took Down Weight Limit Sign, and Compost Chipping c. Building Inspector – Jeromy Delebreau The Building Inspections Department issues 4 building permits and 6 phone calls for the month of April. d. Park Commission – Rick Lodl Rick Lodl stated that the Stone Barn received a donation for some trees. e. Animal Control – Joe Gracyalny None. f. Planning Commission – Dennis Kroll No Meeting. g. Pulaski Fire Department – Gary Van Lannen Gary Van Lannen stated that the call volume is slightly up from last year. h. NEW Rescue – Dennis Kroll Kroll stated N.E.W. got $51,000 back from the state from a grant, which will help for the equipment fund. i. Tourism & Economic Development Corporation – (TEDCOR) – Dennis Kroll None. j. Oconto County Policing Officer – Garrett Baeton There were 54 incidents in the month. 7. Public Comments (No Action Taken) None. 8. Appoint Tony Majewski to the Park Committee. Gary Van Lannen appointed Tony Majewski to the Park Committee. 9. Discuss and Act on Operators License. a.) Katie Calewarts – North Chase Bar & Grill Motion Kroll/Van Lannen to approve Operators License for Katie Calewarts – North Chase Bar & Grill. The motion was called and carried 2-0. b.) Ann Kaufman – South Chase Saloon Motion Kroll/Van Lannen to approve Operators License for Ann Kaufman – South Chase Saloon. The motion was called and carried 2-0. 10. Announcements and General Information. Open Book on Wednesday, August 6 at 9 to 11 am. Annual Board of Review Meeting on Thursday, August 14 at 6:00 pm 11. Adjournment to Monday, June 9, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
