PROCEEDINGS – April 14, 2025 TOWN OF CHASE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Jeff Van Enkevort, Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, Treasurer – Mae Micolichek. 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge was recited. 3. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. 4. Approve Prior Meeting Minutes 5. Present and Approve Bills for Payment Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve agenda, prior meeting minutes and bills for payment. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 6. Committee and Department Reports: a. Financial Report – Treasurer Mae Micolichek Micolichek read the financial report. b. Public Works – Wayne Kaczrowski Downed Tree Chipping, Blacktop Patching, and Compost Chipping c. Building Inspector – Jeff Van Enkevort The Building Inspections Department issues 2 building permits and 6 phone calls for the month of March. d. Park Commission – Jeff Van Enkevort Van Enkevort stated that the Park Commission is getting ready for Spring Craft Sale and Weddings. e. Animal Control – Joe Gracyalny None. f. Planning Commission – Dennis Kroll No Meeting. g. Pulaski Fire Department – Gary Van Lannen No Meeting. h. NEW Rescue – Dennis Kroll No Meeting. i. Tourism & Economic Development Corporation – (TEDCOR) – Dennis Kroll Reviewed Reports and had a guest speaker. j. Oconto County Policing Officer – Garrett Baeton There were 74 incidents for the month. 7. Public Comments (No Action Taken) Weight Limits will be removed on Thursday, April 17th at noon. 8. Discuss and Act on Employees Wage and Salaries. Gary Van Lannen increased the Treasurer Salary by $50 a month, Deputy Clerk by $2 per hour, rest of the employees by $1 more an hour. This does not include the Board Members and will be effective May 1st, 2025. 9. Discuss and Act on Chapter 9. Motion Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve Chapter 9 of the Code of Ordinances. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 10. Discuss and Act on Resolution # R-2025-04-01 Amending the Town of Chase’s Building and Construction Codes. Motion by Van Enkevort\Kroll to approve Resolution # R-2025-04-01 Amending the Town of Chase’s Building and Construction Codes. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 11. Appointments A.
