PROCEEDINGS – June 10, 2024 TOWN OF CHASE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Jeff Van Enkevort, – Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, Treasurer – Mae Micolichek. 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge was recited. 3. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. 4. Approve Prior Meeting Minutes 5. Present and Approve Bills for Payment Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve agenda, prior meeting minutes and bills for payment. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 6. Committee and Department Reports: a. Financial Report – Treasurer Mae Micolichek Micolichek read the financial report. b. Public Works – Wayne Kaczrowski Kaczrowski stated that they cleaned up trees from Gohr Road and loaded TV and Electronics, sealed benches, and patched roads. c. Building Inspector – Bobbie Krozell Van Enkevort stated there were 5 permits issued in May. d. Park Commission – Jeff Van Enkevort Van Enkevort thanked the volunteers for working the craft sale. e. Animal Control – Joe Gracyalny None. f. Planning Commission – Dennis Kroll Kroll stated the Dollar General was denied in Chase near the North Chase Citgo and the one in Krakow was tabled until August 7. g. Pulaski Fire Department – Gary Van Lannen No Meeting h. NEW Rescue – Dennis Kroll Kroll stated they had a meeting on April 22nd. 55 calls for the month, 5 in the Town of Chase. Read the financials and new rescue squad should arrive by the end of the month. i. Oconto County Economic Development (OCED) – Norb Reinhard Jr. No Meeting. j. Oconto County Policing Officer – Garrett Baeton Baeton stated that there were 61 incidents for the month which included traffic stops, traffic violations, and building checks. He also stated that August 6th is Night Out. 7. Public Comments (No Action Taken) None. 8. Discuss and Act on Road Repair Holowinski $44,208.15 Motion by Van Enkevort/Van Lannen to approve road repair for Holewinski for $44,208.15. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 9. Discuss and Act on Road Repair Safian Road Culvert $10,497.40 Motion by Kroll/Van Enkevort/ to approve road repair Safian Road Culvert for $10,497.40. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 10. Discuss and Act on to do a Revaluation from Fair Market Assessment for $35,000. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to do a revaluation from Fair Market Assessment for $35,000. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 11. Discuss and Act on Sidewalk East Entrance Door of Town Hall from Stoney Crete LLC for $800. Motion by Kroll/Van Enkevort to approve sidewalk by the east entrance door of the Town Hall from Stoney Crete LLC for $800. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 12. Discuss and Act on New Appointment to the Park Commission – Kare Goodness. Gary Van Lannen appointed Kare Goodness to the Park Commission. 13. Discuss and Act on Resolution # R-2024-06-10 for Employee Fee Schedule. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve Resolution # R-2024-06-10 for Employee Fee Schedule. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 14. Discuss and Act on moving $100,000 from Park Commission into CDS. Motion by Kroll/Van Lannen to move $100,000 from Park Commission into CDS. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 15. Discuss and Act on Liquor Licenses: A. South Chase Saloon B. North Chase Bar & Grill C. North Chase Citgo Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve Liquor Licenses for South Chase Saloon, North Chase Bar & Grill, and North Chase Citgo. 16. Announcements and General Information. None. 17.
