PROCEEDINGS – September 11, 2023 TOWN OF CHASE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Supervisor – Jeff Van Enkevort, Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, Treasurer – Mae Micolichek 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge was recited and the Town took a moment of silence for Jeanne Wroblewski and September 11. 3. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. 4. Approve Prior Meeting Minutes 5. Present and Approve Bills for Payment Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to change the sequence of agenda, approve prior meeting minutes, and bills for payment. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 6. Discuss Committee and Department Reports: a. Financial Report – Treasurer Mae Micolichek Micolichek read the financial report. b. Public Works – Norbert Reinhard Reinhard stated that they have been patching roads and road signs. c. Building Inspector – Bobbie Krozell Van Enkevort stated that 8 permits were issued in August for, 1 accessory building, 1 Ag building, and 6 misc. There were also 6 emails and 9 calls. d. Park Commission – Jeff Van Enkevort Van Enkevort stated the Craft Sale was a huge success and over $7,000 was raised. e. Animal Control – Joe Gracyalny None f. Planning Commission – Dennis Kroll Kroll stated there was a Conditional Use for Regina Vervoren and a Certified Survey for Walter Christiansen which were both approved at planning meeting. g. Pulaski Fire Department – Gary Van Lannen None. h. NEW Rescue – Dennis Kroll Kroll stated there was no meeting. i. Oconto County Economic Development (OCED) – Norb Reinhard Jr. None j. Oconto County Policing Officer – Van Enkevort stated there were a total of 61 incidents for the month. 7. Public Comments (No Action Taken) None. 8. Discuss and Act on Rezone for Regina Vervoren, 250 Jaworski Road, Parcel #012- 333301924A1, on Lot #23, for a Conditional Use. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve Conditional Use for Regina Vervoren, 250 Jaworski Road, Parcel #012-33301924A1. Motion was called and carried 2-1. Gary VanLannen opposed. 9. Discuss and Act on Walter Christiansen, 2118 Holowinski Road, Parcel #012-020201634, Certified Survey. Motion by Van Enkevort/Van Lannen to approve Certified Survey for Walter Christiansen, 2118 Holowinski Road, Parcel #012-020201634. Motion was called and carried 3-0. 10. Discuss and Act on Printer for Town Hall from ARPA funds for $4053.30. Motion by Kroll/Van Enkevort to approve Printer for Town Hall from ARPA funds for $4053.30. Motion was called and carried 3-0. 11. Discuss and Act on Microsoft Adobe Professional for $240 yearly. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve Microsoft Adobe Professional for $240 yearly. Motion was called and carried 3-0. 12. Announcements and General Information. 13. Adjournment to Monday, October 9, 2023. Van Lannen adjourned the meeting at 7:42 pm until October 9, 2023.
