Town of Townsend Planning & Zoning Committee Meeting Tuesday, August 5 , 202 5 The Comprehensive Planning C ommission for the Town of Townsend was called to order at 5:0 0 pm on Tuesday, August 5 , 2025 by Vice - Chairman Dan DeMoulin Commission members present: Dan DeMoulin, Joanne Jones, Willie Evans, Dave Exferd, Linda Ziegler, Ed Robertson, Drew Zelle : 2 citizens Confirm proper posting of meeting notices: The notice was posted at the Townsend Town Hall, Laona State Bank, Townsend location, Townsend Post office and www.townsendwisconsin.org, on July 22, 2024 5 and emailed to board members and additional copies were available at the meeting. Evans made the motion to approve the minutes from May 6, 202 5 and 2 nd by Jones , M/A New Chairperson: Jones made the motion to nominate Dan DeMoulin, 2 nd by Evans – M/A - DeMoulin accepted. Evans made the motion to nominate Zelle as Vice - Chair, 2 nd by Exferd – M/A. Zelle accepted. Updates discussed regarding commissioner’s terms (3 year). Jones 2026; Exferd, De Moulin, Evans, Ziegler 2027 ; Robertson, Zelle 2028 Review for Placement of a pre - existing Dwelling: Mueller @ 17179 Presbyterian Rd. owner Mary Mueller was present. She wants to replace the 1989 existing trailer, which is in poor shape, with a 1989 trailer to be moved in. Pictures were presented. She said the outside would be cleaned and painted, and the inside was in good condition. DeMoulin had concerns with the age of the trailer and that it had not been refurbished. Evans made the motion to deny placement of the pre - existing dwelling, 2 nd by Jones – M/A. No public comment No other business Next meeting will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 5pm if needed.
