PLAN COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING MINUTES FROM WEDNE SDAY SEPTEMBER 1 6 , 20 26 Cc: Plan Commission members, City Assessor, City Attorney, Common Council agenda file and Clerk ’s file. Plan Commission meeting minutes Page 1 of 1 1. Mayor Genisot , City of Marinette Plan Commission Chairperson , called the regular meeting of the City of Marinette Plan Commission to order at 0 3 :30 PM in the Common Council Chambers at Marinette City Hall, 1905 Hall Ave. 2. Upon a call of the rol l it was determined a quorum of commission membership was present and the following attendance was recorded: COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Mayor Genisot , Alderperson Skorik , Mike Minzlaff , John Marx, Rick Polzin & Public Works Director/City Engineer Miller. COMMISSIONER ’S ABSENT: Commissioner Steve Lang OTHERS PRESENT: Building Inspector Demlow & Jan Kust . 3. Approval of prior Plan Commission meeting minutes. Alderperson Skorik moved / Commissioner Marx seconded and all concurred to a pprove the City of Marinette Plan Commission ’s regular meeting minutes from 0 8 / 19 / 26 . 4. Sign Site Plan site plan submitted by Wonder Sign, Green Bay WI, for a wall sign at Designing Image Hair Salon, 1625 Cleveland Avenue, Marinette, WI Wonder Sign submitted a site plan depicting a 19-foot , wall sign. Public Works Director & City Engineer Miller and Building Inspector Demlow indicated their review and approval of the plan by signing off on the form prior to today ’s meeting. Commissioner Polzin moved/Alderperson Skorik seconded and all concurred to approve , as presented, the aforementioned business sign site plan and authorize Building Inspector Demlow to issue a sign permit authorizing a 19- foot wall sign at Designing Image Hair Salon, 1625 Cleveland Avenue, Marinette, WI which is located within a “ B-1 ” Local Shopping Zoned District. 5. S ite plan submitted by The Shop, Menominee, MI, for a wall sign at Liljestrands,701 Main Street, Marinette, WI The Shop submitted a site plan depicting a hanging wall sign. Public Works Director & City Engineer Miler and Building Inspector Demlow indicated their review and approval of the plan by signing off on the form prior to today ’s meeting. Commissioner s Marx moved/ Minzlaff seconded and all concurred, to approve , as presented , the aforementioned business sign site plan for a hanging wall sign and authorize Building Inspector Demlow to issue a sign permit authorizing the aforementioned sign at Liljestrands,701 Main Street, Marinette, WI located within a “ M- U ” Commercial/Residential Zoned District. 6. Future agenda items . Discuss zoning and Comprehensive Plan for UW Fieldhouse and all Institutional properties 7. ADJOURNMENT.
