Craig Sankey presented the second quarter 2026 statistics for the Division of Children and Family Services.

Director Hake provided the Director's Report.
4. Special Meeting Attendance Reports (Portage County Ordinance 3.1.47 & 3.1.48)
Greg Hakala reported on the CAP Services meeting on August 26, 2026. Landon Elgersma reported on the CCOP Advisory
Committee meeting on September 14, 2026. Robin Falk reported on the Woodlands Enhanced Services Commission meeting.

with such comments subject to the public comment ordinance and the reasonable control of the Committee Chair as set forth

A motion was made by Bev Laska, seconded by Landon Elgersma, to Approve the Health and Human Services Board Committee
meeting minutes from August 17, 2026. Motion to Approve carried by voice vote, with no negative votes.
DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION
6. Discussion/Possible Action Re: Approval of 2027 New Position Request for an Economic Support Specialist (1.0 FTE)
A motion was made by Amber Garner, seconded by Landon Elgersma, to Approve the 2027 new position request for an Economic
Support Specialist. Motion to Approve carried by voice vote, with no negative votes.
7. Discussion/Possible Action Re: Approval of Budget Amendment/Transfer Request for the Economic Support Specialist
- Lead
A motion was made by Robin Falk, seconded by Greg Hakala, to Approve the budget amendment/transfer request for the Economic
Support Specialist - Lead position. Motion to Approve carried by voice vote, with no negative votes.
8. Discussion/Possible Action Re: Approval of Resolution Transferring Justice Programs and Its Staff into the Health and
Human Services Department and Revising the Correspondence Code of Ordinances Sections
A motion was made by Robin Falk, seconded by Bev Laska, to Approve the Resolution Transerring Justice Programs and Its Staff into
the Health and Human Services Department and Revising the Correspondence Code of Ordinances Sections. Motion to Approve
carried by voice vote, with no negative votes.

10. Enter into Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stats. Sec. 19.85(1)(F) to consider cases which involve social or personal

A motion was made by Greg Hakala, seconded by Robin Falk, to enter into Closed Session.
