1 PORTAGE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY (PCPL) Board of Trustees Regular Meeting September 16, 2026 CALL TO ORDER President Liz Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. at the Portage County Public Library (PCPL), 1001 Main Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481. Trustees present: Joe Bachman, Amanda Freberg, Elise Holzberger, and Nycole Martinez. Trustees excused: Holly Petrillo and Chris Randazzo. Library staff present: Eddie Glade, Alexander Johnson, Nicole Ozanich, and Jamie Phillis. Others present: Nancy Foth, Ginger Keymer – City of Stevens Point District 3 Alderperson. 1. Board Members Time Entry – Per Diem and Mileage Reminder was given to Board Members to enter their request online to get reimbursed. CORRESPONDENCE None. REPORTS 2. Branch and Extension; Circulation; Reference; Technical Services; Youth Services Reports on Department operations and activities were given. 3. Municipal Government Liaison Report on City of Stevens Point activities was given. Bachman left the meeting at 4:55pm. 4. Director Report and Statistics Johnson went over the Director Report and statistics provided in the meeting packet. PUBLIC NOTICE Members of the public who wish to address the Board of Trustees on specific agenda items must register their request at this time, with such comments subject to the public comment ordinance and the reasonable control of the Board President as set forth in Robert’s R ules of Order No public comment was given. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 5. August 19, 2026 Meeting Minutes Freberg made a motion to approve the August 19, 2026 minutes as presented. Martinez seconded the motion, which passed by voice vote. DISCUSSION / POSSIBLE ACTION 6. Discussion / Possible Action – Approval of Financials Martinez made a motion to approve the Financials as reported. Holzberger seconded the motion, which passed by voice vote. 7. Discussion / Possible Action – PCPL Strategic Plan Strategic Planning meetings were scheduled for October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 at 4:30pm, locations to be determined. 8. Discussion / Possible Action – 2026 Winter Holiday Schedule Freberg made a motion to approve the 2026 Winter Holiday Schedule as presented. Holzberger seconded the motion, which passed by voice vote.
