MINUTES Joint Board of Review May 8th, 2024 Public Present: Mike Smits, Kaitlin Deschane, VP (via zoom), Dustin Wolff(via zoom), Craig Schuh (via zoom), George Gocht 1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5pm 2) Roll Call: Members present: Amy Grandaw – Village of Crivitz, Eric Derenne – NWTC, Ginger Deschane – Marinette County, Kelly Robinson – Crivitz School District, Cory Siebert – Citizen Representative 3) Review and consideration of minutes from the April 11, 2024 meeting: Motion by Ginger Deschane, Seconded by Kelly Robinson. Ayes: 5, Nays: 0. Motion Passed. 4) Review the public record, Planning Commission resolution adopting the Project Plan and Boundary, and resolution passed by the Village Board approving the Project Plan and Boundary: Notices for the first meeting, April 11th, were sent to all taxing jurisdictions as required by law and posted in the Peshtigo Times. Plan Commission met April 17th and was posted in the Peshtigo Times, they approved the project plan and boundary. The Village Board met May 1st and was posted in the Peshtigo Time, they approved the project plan and boundary. This meeting was posted in the Peshtigo Times as required by law. 5) Review proposed TID No. 2 Project Plan and Boundary: There have been no changes to the proposed plan or boundary. Page 6 of the project plan shows the boundary map located east of highway 141. Page 5 shows the 12% equalized value of the Village of Crivitz equating to a maximum value of 14 million, the proposed boundary has a value of under 7 million. Page 23 shares in Table 7 shows the estimated assessed value of the completed project of 23 million. 1) Consideration of resolution approving Tax Incremental District No. 2.: Motion by Cory Siebert, Seconded by Ginger Deschane to approve the resolution approving the Tax Increment District. Roll Call Vote: Grandaw: Aye, Derene: Aye, Deschane: Aye, Robinson: Aye, Siebert: Aye. Motion Passed. 2) Adjourn: Motion by Cory Siebert, seconded by Trustee Kelly Robinson, to adjourn the meeting at 5:07pm. Ayes: 5, Nays: 0. Motion Passed.
