MEETING AGENDA Annual Town Meeting of Electors Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 6 p.m. 71 residents attended- sign in sheet attached. Motion to appoint Kristen Edgar as chairperson (Cindy Baur)- motion failed, invalid per state statute. Topics of discussion, per resident requests: public borrowing, general audit, Zoom Method of voting, per residents: Motion to do roll call vote (Cindy Baur/Kristen Edgar)- voice vote, majority yes. Motion overruled to- hand raise vote (Nancy Holzberger/Chera Buechler)- voice vote, majority yes. 1) Call to order: Chairperson Friday called the meeting to order at 6:10pm (late start, as many residents awaiting to sign-in) 2) Pledge of Allegiance 3) Verification of proper notice: Chairperson Friday verified. 4) Minute approval a. 4/15/2025 Annual Town Meeting: Motion to approve (Scott Beatty/Barb Brown)- majority yes. b. 11/18/2025 Special Town Meeting: Motion to approve (Dave Buechler/Lou Ann Seils)- majority yes. 5) Set date for 2027 Annual Town Meeting: Motion to schedule as usual, 3rd Tuesday of April: 04/20/2027 (Kristen Edgar/Barb Brown)- majority yes. 6) Annual financial statement: Presented, no comments heard. 7) Discussion and possible action on matters that are raised by the Town electors a. Advisory motion only: Town board shall not borrow money without a referendum (Cindy Baur/Kristen Edgar)- 34 yes, 31 no. Advisory motion passed. b. Advisory motion only: Town board shall complete an audit (Candi Buchanauer/no 2nd)- No vote taken, due to lack of 2nd. c. Advisory motion only: Town board shall get 3 estimates for completing an audit (Kristen Edgar/Cindy Baur) 29 yes, 35 no. Advisory motion failed. d. Advisory motion only: Town meetings shall include Zoom attendance (Barb Brown/Cynthia Nieminski) 30 yes, 26 no. Advisory motion passed. e.
