W2435 Old Peshtigo Rd Marinette, WI 54143 715- 582-4332 www.townofpeshtigo. wi.gov MEETING MINUTES Town of Peshtigo Monthly Board Meeting Tuesday, November 18, 2025 immediately following Special Meeting of Electors 1) Call to order: Chairperson Friday called the meeting to order at 6:03pm. 2) Roll call (as performed during Public Hearing) 3) Verification of proper notice (as performed during Public Hearing) 4) Approve agenda: Motion to approve (Joy/Bergeson). Motion carried- 5 yes. 5) Amend and/or approve proposed 2026 budget: Motion to approve (Wortner/Coble). Motion carried- 5 yes. 6) Public comment (limited to 3 minutes per person with no time donations from others, agenda items only), start by stating name/address & agenda item(s) to be addressed: None heard. 7) Announcements: a. New town website is now live. Website address will change to .wi.gov soon. b. Town hall will be closed for the following holidays: Thanksgiving- Thursday 11/27/25, Christmas- Thursday 12/25/25, and New Years Day- Thursday 1/1/26. 8) Minute approval – Regular Board Meeting 10/21/2025: Approved via unanimous consent. 9) Reports a. Fire Department: Chief Folgert gave report. i. New fire truck final payment: New truck is expected in roughly one month, around the time of the December 2025 regular board meeting. $176,999 balance due at time of acceptance. Town board previously approved to pay $175,584 with the remainder to come out of the Fire Department’s fundraising account. b. Constable: Chairperson Friday gave report. c. Building Inspector: Chairperson Friday gave report. 73 permits YTD. 10) Treasurer Report/Investment Report/Budget YTD vs Actual/Budget Amendments: Approved via unanimous consent. a. Approve vouchers & payment of bills: Motion to approve (Coble/Wortner). Motion carried- 5 yes. 11) Approve election inspectors for 2026-2027 election cycle: Jill Brohmer removed, as she is no longer interested. With that change, motion to approve as presented, pending completion of required training (Coble/Joy). Motion carried- 5 yes. 12) Revaluation contract with Frank Assessments: Motion to approve (Coble/Joy). Motion carried- 5 yes. 13) HVAC mechanical service proposal: Tabled until December meeting. Buildings & Grounds – Chairperson Coble, Vice Chairperson Bergeson: No updates. b. Recycling Center – Chairperson Bergeson, Vice Chairperson Coble: No updates. i. 2026 Recycling Center calendar: Motion to approve as presented (Bergeson/Coble). Motion carried- 5 yes. c. Roads & Ditches – Chairperson Wortner: Wortner updated that ditch mowing and tree cutting will continue to be the focus, as weather permits. 15) PFAS contamination updates a. DNR: No updates. b. Tyco/JCI: Updates listed on website, under water tab. c. EPA Superfund designation: No updates. d. Tyco Litigation: No updates. Still in litigation. 16) Upcoming Meetings – Regular Board Meeting Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 6 p.m. with Annual Christmas Party to follow: Residents encouraged to attend- please bring a dish to pass. 17) Adjourn: Unanimous consent to adjourn at 6:35pm.
