MEETING MINUTES Town of Peshtigo Special Board Meeting/Budget Workshop Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 5 p.m. 1) Call to order: Chairperson Friday called the meeting to order at 5:00pm. 2) Roll call: All present. Chairperson Friday, Supervisor Coble, Supervisor Wortner, Supervisor Bergeson, Supervisor Joy 3) Verification of proper notice: Chairperson Friday verified. 4) Approve agenda: Motion to approve (Joy/Coble). Motion carried- 5 yes. 5) Budget Workshop (the following may be discussed/acted upon in no particular order) a. 2026 Fee Schedule: Approved with no changes. b. 2026 RC Fee Schedule: Approved with no changes. c. 2026 Employee Compensation: Changes made- all to go into effect 01/01/2026: i. Katherine Brandt: Motion to give COLA increase, plus 10 hours of PTO (Friday/Coble). Motion carried- 5 yes. ii. Brendan Kaempf: Motion to increase to $21/hour (Friday/Wortner). Motion carried- 5 yes. iii. Jeff Maney: Motion to increase to $24/hour (Wortner/Friday). Motion carried- 5 yes. iv. Keith Swallow: Motion to increase to $30/hour, 5 sick days per year (no carryover), and 3 weeks of paid vacation (with ability to carryover 1 week/year) (Wortner/Friday). Motion carried- 5 yes. d. Town Hall New Flooring: Chairperson Friday updated that the election room carpet is complete. Quotes on hand for carpeting the remainder of building, if needed/wanted by board within next couple of months. e. Revaluation: Motion to accept Accurate Assessment quote for full interior and exterior revaluation to be completed in 2026, for a total of $204,000 (Friday/Coble). Motion carried- 5 yes. f. Road Maintenance Plan: No further discussion at this time. g. Replacement of 2005 Chevy 3500: No further discussion at this time. h. Proposed 2026 Town Budget: Reviewed. Minimal adjustments made, with plan to review again at October Regular Board Meeting. 6) Motion to Adjourn: Motion to adjourn at 6:19pm (Coble/Bergeson). Motion carried- 5 yes.
