W2435 Old Peshtigo Road Marinette, WI 54143 715-582-4332 www.townofpeshtigo.org MEETING MINUTES Town of Peshtigo Plan Commission Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 at 5 p.m. 7 Members present: Commission Chairperson Jennifer Friday, Commission Vice Chair Jimmer Wortner, Jim Devcich, Joel Ortman, Joyce Buchman, Eric Morois, and Mike Fifarek. 1) Call to order: Chairperson Friday called meeting to order at 5:00pm. 2) Record of Attendance (sign-in sheet): See above. 3) Verification of proper notice: Chairperson Friday verified. 4) Approve agenda: Motion to approve (Wortner/Fifarek). Motion carried 7 yes. 5) Approve 8/12/2025 meeting minutes: Motion to approve (Devcich/Buchman). Motion carried 7 yes. 6) Comprehensive Plan DRAFT review with finalization of next steps: Commission members made edits to draft document. Bay Lake will update prior to Open House & Public Hearing. 7) Regulation of Short-Term Rentals discussion: Commission members began discussion on short term rentals, possible regulations, and reviewed other municipal/county regulations. Members will continue researching and working toward developing a possible ordinance. 8) Next meeting date/time: Tuesday, October 21st, 2025: Open House from 5-5:30pm, Public Hearing to begin at 5:30pm, with regular Plan Commission meeting to follow. 9) Adjourn (no later than 5:50 p.m.): Motion to adjourn at 5:46pm (Wortner/Ortman).
