Approval of July 14, 2026, Minutes A motion was made by Bob Gifford, seconded by Travis Bassett, to approve the July 14, 2026, Minutes. A motion was made by Travis Bassett, seconded by Doug Stingle, to amend the July 14th, 2026, minutes by removing the narrative paragraph from item number 9, but leaving no action taken and to approve the minutes as amended. Motion passed by voice vote, with no negative votes. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION 13. Disscussion/Possible Action Re: Authorizing resolutions for Healthy Lakes and Rivers Grant A motion was made by Barry Jacowski, seconded by Travis Bassett, to approve the Authorizing resolutions for Healthy Lakes and Rivers Grant. Motion passed by voice vote, with no negative votes. 14. Discussion/Possible Action RE: Revising Portage County Code of Ordinances Section 3.1.17, Resulting in the Addition of a Citizen Member to the Land and Water Conservation Committee A motion was made by Bob Gifford, seconded by Doug Stingle, to approve Revising Portage County Code of Ordinances Section 3.1.17, Resulting in the Addition of a Citizen Member to the Land and Water Conservation Committee. A motion was made by Tyler Bulgrin, seconded by Barry Jacowski, to amend the resolution to have the citizen be a member of one of the three Portage County farmer-lead producer groups. The motion to approve failed by the following vote: 3 Yes: Bob Gifford, Barry Jacowski, Tyler Bulgrin 3 No: Nancy Eggleston, Travis Bassett, Doug Stingle The vote to approve the resolution as presented passed by the following vote: 4 Yes: Nancy Eggleston, Travis Bassett, Doug Stingle, Bob Gifford 2 No: Tyler Bulgrin, Barry Jacowski NEXT MEETING DATE Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 6:00pm.
