MEETING MINUTES Town of Peshtigo Plan Commission Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 5 p.m. Attendance: Commission Chair Friday, Vice Chair Wortner, Joyce Buchman, Jim Devcich, Eric Morois Not present: Chuck LaCourt, Joel Ortman 1)Call to order: Chairperson Friday called the meeting to order at 5:00pm 2) Approve agenda: Wortner motion to approve/Second by Buchman. Motion carried with 5 yes votes. 3) Approve minutes of the 12/3/2024 meeting: Devcich motion to approve/Second by Buchman. Motion carried with 5 yes. 4) Topic(s) to be discussed: a. Chairperson & Vice Chairperson: Friday updated that as of 01/21/25, Jennifer Friday is PC Chairperson and Jimmer Wortner is PC Vice Chairperson b. Sec. 34-82 Discharge of firearms: PC will recommend to Town Board to change ordinance to remove letter (b), and section (2), change word “gun” to “firearm” and change “300 yards” to “100 yards”, per the DNR recommendation. Joel Ortman joined meeting at 5:09pm. c. Ordinance Chapter 36: Recommendation given to Town Board for approval. d. Comprehensive Plan Survey Results: Results given to PC members to review. e. Comprehensive Plan Goals & Objectives: Work on updating for next meeting. f. Comprehensive Plan Draft: Draft reviewed with recommendations for changes to be forwarded to Kyle Robison of Bay Lake. g.
