TOWN OF PORTERFIELD SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, April 30, 2025 Chair Dennis Bergeson called the special meeting to order at 5:00 PM with 8 in attendance for the purpose of acting on the Resolution for discontinuing Carviou Lane. Present at the meeting was Supervisor I Amy Linstad, Supervisor II Zak Albrecht, Chair Dennis Bergeson, Clerk Dawn Johnson, Treasurer Audrey Guseck, Attorney Kim Coggins along with Sara and Jayme Carviou. There was discussion on Carviou Lane. Dennis Bergeson read the description of Carviou Lane to be discontinued: Part of the NE ¼ of the NW ¼, Part of the NW ¼ of the NE ¼, Part of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼, Part of the SW ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 10, T31N, R22E, Town of Porterfield, Marinette County, Wisconsin also known as Carviou Lane. A 66-foot-wide Town road having 33 feet on each side of the following described line: BEGINNING at the North ¼ corner of said Section; thence S 02° 04’ 44” W along ¼ line a distance of 1,550+- feet to end of road and POINT OF ENDING. Zal Albrecht made a motion to approve Resolution #2025-2 Resolution and Order to Discontinue a Highway – Carviou Lane. Amy Linstad seconded the motion. Roll Call: Amy Linstad – yes, Zak Albrecht – yes, Dennis Bergeson – yes. Resolution approved. Zak Albrecht made a motion to execute an order to abandon Carviou Lane. Amy Linstad seconded the motion. Roll Call: Amy Linstad – yes, Zak Albrecht – yes, Dennis Bergeson – yes. Motion approved. Amy Linstad made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:20 PM. Zak Albrecht seconded the motion.
