TOWN OF PORTERFIELD ELECTORS’ MEETING WEDNESDAY, November 13, 2024 Chairperson Dennis Bergeson pursuant to 60.12(1)c of WI Statutes called the Special Town Elector Meeting to order at 6:08 PM with 12 in attendance. The minutes from November 8, 2023 Electors’ Meeting was read. Tom Buelteman made a motion to approve the minutes as read and Wade Larsen seconded the motion. All were in favor – minutes approved. 1. A motion was made by Tom Buelteman to adopt the Town Tax Levy of $593,843.00 to be paid in 2025. Howard King seconded the motion. The vote of electors showed 12 were in favor and no one was opposed - motion approved. (Pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statues.) 2. A motion was made by Chuck Felch to approve the wages for the Town Board elected in 2025 as follows: Chairperson $ 8,429.23; Supervisor I and II $4, 338.58; Treasurer $8,057.35; and Clerk $ 14,422.17. Wade Larsen seconded the motion. 12 in favor and no one was opposed – motion approved. (Pursuant to Sec. 60.32 of Wisconsin Statutes.) Howard King made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
