1 PORTAGE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY (PCPL) Board of Trustees Regular Meeting August 19, 2026 CALL TO ORDER Vice-President Amanda Freberg called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. at the Portage County Public Library (PCPL), Almond Branch, at 122 Main Street, Almond, WI 54909. Trustees present: Elise Holzberger, Nycole Martinez, Liz Peterson (entered at 4:50pm), and Holly Petrillo. Trustees excused: Joe Bachman and Chris Randazzo. Library staff present: Alexander Johnson, Nicole Ozanich, and Jamie Phillis. Others present: Ginger Keymer – City of Stevens Point District 3 Alderperson. 1. Board Members Time Entry – Per Diem and Mileage Reminder was given to Board Members to enter their request online to get reimbursed. CORRESPONDENCE Patron comments were reviewed. REPORTS 2. Branch and Extension; Circulation; Reference; Technical Services; Youth Services Reports on Department operations and activities were given. 3. Municipal Government Liaison Report on City of Stevens Point activities was given. 4. Director Report and Statistics Johnson went over the Director Report and statistics provided in the meeting packet. PUBLIC NOTICE Members of the public who wish to address the Board of Trustees on specific agenda items must register their request at this time, with such comments subject to the public comment ordinance and the reasonable control of the Board President as set forth in Robert’s Rul es of Order No public comment was given. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 5. July 29, 2026 Meeting Minutes Peterson made a motion to approve the July 29, 2026 minutes as presented. Petrillo seconded the motion, which passed by voice vote. DISCUSSION / POSSIBLE ACTION 6. Discussion / Possible Action – Approval of Financials Martinez made a motion to approve the Financials as reported. Peterson seconded the motion, which passed by voice vote. Adjournment Meeting adjourned by Vice-President Freberg at 5:33 pm.
